Fantastic filter
Running K&N on all my vehicles. Really work well. The wrench off nut on the white K&N filters is very helpful in tight spaces where it's hard to get a filter wrench in.

Great product as I've used for years, now I just don't have to make a trip to the auto parts store, just Amazon Prime and I have it! Price is about the same as the retail stores. I love it has the 1 inch hex nut on the end so I don't ever have to even use an oil filter wrench!

even with reading as much information as i could find on quality of oil filters all the expert reading material i have found claims there is no good scientific reason to buy a name brand filter vs a cheaper off brand. having said that, the oil life on my time between oil changes runs 500-1500 miles longer when i have used k&n oil filters. so, i do buy them and pay twice what i would pay at an auto parts store and will continue to do so until proven that they are more harmful. so if you want to spend the money, go for it, as far as science will tell you, it is a waste, and as far as i will tell you, it is not.

Fits perfectly on my 99 silverado with 5.3l v8. It's easy to install and remove, and is much larger than the OEM style filters. I can also get this one off, I had to jam a screwdriver through my last one (not K&n) and twist it to get it off.

Bigger filter for most Chevy 5.3 ltr engines.
This is just a longer (and I hope, better) filter for my Silverado. There is so much room to mount this, yet Chevy uses a dink little filter. You could mount one twice as long. This is a simple screw-on exchange for the tiny Chevy filter. Bigger is always better in my opinion on filters, so this works great! No issues here!

Perfect fit of high quality filter and was much easier than Polaris filter due to nut end. Stock filters a real struggle due to lack of space. This one was real simple. What a relief.
