Tự làm bắp rang chưa bao giờ dễ dàng hơn thế. Chỉ cần mua đúng loại bắp dùng để làm bắp nổ và một chiếc chảo đế dày là bạn đã có thể hoàn thành món bắp rang caramel vô cùng hấp dẫn, tưởng chừng như không bao giờ có thể tự làm ở nhà.
Trong một chảo đế dày, cho 3 muỗng canh dầu ăn vào ở lửa vừa, khi dầu nóng đều thì cho bắp hột vào, đảo đều để dầu thấm đều vào từng hạt bắp. Sau đó, bạn đậy nắp lại, chờ 3 - 5 phút để bắp nổ.
Khi bắp đã nổ hết, tắt bếp, mở nắp vung rồi cho bắp vào tô. Loại bỏ những hạt không nổ được hoặc nổ chưa hết. Cho đậu phộng, hạnh nhân, hạt điều vào cùng.
Trong một chảo chống dính, cho đường nâu và bơ vào khuấy tan. Tiếp đến cho mật ong vào, khuấy nhẹ nhàng ở lửa nhỏ trong khoảng 5 phút.
Tắt bếp, ngay lập tức cho muối nở (baking soda) và 1 muỗng cà phê vani vào, khuấy liên tục, dùng muôi gỗ trộn sao cho caramel phủ đều lên bắp.
Làm nóng lò ở 100 độ C. Lót giấy nến vào khay rồi cho bắp rang rải đều lên. Cho bắp vào lò nướng trong 60 phút, cứ mỗi 15 phút lại lấy ra đảo đều các mặt.
